We were pretty brave last week in selecting Nacho Monreal as our third choice captain pick but he duly obliged with a goal and it was just a shame that he was in an Arsenal team that is shocking defensively so there were no clean sheet points.

We have been pretty consistent with our picks of late and last week all three of our selections scored so if you followed our tips you should have been moderately happy. We have three top captain choices for game week 26 this week and as always our number one pick is reserved for members – be sure to log in and the number one pick will magically appear on this page (actually it has nothing to do with magic, it is just coding, but magic sounds far more exciting).

Game Week 26 Captain Pick No.3: Theo Walcott

Theo Walcott has proved himself very quickly at Everton and returns to the Emirates in game week 26 in a game that he will relish the opportunity to attack against his former teammates. He knows their weaknesses better than most and although Arsenal’s home form is far better than their away form, all the attacking signings in the world don’t mask the fact that they are dreadful at the back. Fresh from scoring two in midweek he will be going in to this game with confidence.

Everton will no doubt look to sit solidly and soak up pressure and then hit Arsenal on the break, which will play right in to Walcott’s strengths. All eyes will be on the new men for Arsenal which should take the pressure off Theo a little and we are backing him to haunt his old club in GW26.

Game Week 26 Captain Pick No.2: Alexis Sanchez

Another former Arsenal player makes our second selection of the week but if you don’t have Alexis Sanchez in your side (and can’t fit him in) then you could choose from one of United’s other attacking players. They were stunned by Spurs in midweek and the manger and crowd will be demanding a reaction in this game against Huddersfield who beat them earlier this season.

The motivation is there for the Reds and Sanchez looks like he has fitted in pretty seamlessly as he looks to mark his home debut with a goal. Huddersfield were outclassed by Liverpool in the week and we expect more of the same here.
