Game week 32 promises to be an interesting week for FPL managers and as we look for the best captain choice there are plenty of options around – and some that haven’t featured for a while.

The heroics of Mo Salah in GW31 meant that most managers performed better than previously expected but it was of course those who took a gamble on other Liverpool players who got hit the worst! This week, it will be interesting to see how the psychology of the game works as those managers who lost out on Salah last week might benefit from looking elsewhere again – however it is those very managers who got badly burned who might now be trying to cover their bases by giving the Egyptian the armband.

Like most things associated with fantasy sports, there is going to be a gamble. But this might be the week to go against goal machine Salah and opt for one of the other selections. We take a look at the top three captain choices for game week 32:

GW32 Captain Pick No.3: Mo Salah

Whether you choose Salah or not as captain is of course your own choice entirely and much of your choice will depend on your league position. If you are sitting pretty at the top then choosing him makes sense, but there is going to be a week where he underperforms and a tough trip to Crystal Palace who are fighting for their lives could just be the week.

With all of that being said, Salah remains a top choice and in this Liverpool side he has every chance of adding to his tally this week – we just don’t fancy it being for anything better than a brace.

GW32 Captain Pick No.2: Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku scored a couple of Belgium in midweek and despite having a mixed season at Man Utd he does look like a man with confidence. The support he has enjoyed from his manager has certainly helped in that regard and he is the one Man Utd player who is sure of game time.

United have hit 6 past Swansea this season in two away games and although this Swansea side is much better drilled now than earlier in the season this still represents an excellent chance for Lukaku to add to his goal tally. He scored in the league game (he came on as a sub in the cup game) and despite Swansea’s recent upturn in form it was only a few weeks ago when they travelled to Brighton and got spanked 4-1.

United need to finish the season strongly and Jose desperately wants to take second place in the league and this looks like a good chance for them to get a top result. Old Trafford expects and hopefully Lukaku will deliver.

As the most transferred in player of the week with over a quarter of a million transfers it looks like the wider FPL community expects the Belgian to fire in GW32.

GW32 Captain Pick No.1: Aubameyang

Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan both looked exceptional last time out for Arsenal and have a very winnable home fixture against Stoke City this weekend. Aubameyang is the more solid choice of the two and as the spearhead of this Arsneal frontline pretty much everything passes through him. Whereas Lacazette always looked like a bit of a passenger, Auba gets involved and he has the attributes to expose this poor Stoke team.

Three goals and one assist is the return that Auba has provided in his first five league games for the club which is pretty good going and he has only failed to score at home against Man City. Stoke on the other hand have not won since January 20th and it looks unlikely that will change here. Stoke may have beaten Arsenal earlier this season but this looks more like being a 4-1 or 3-1 scoreline that we saw last season when these two met.
