With just two game week’s between now and the blank game week for West Ham and Spurs which is of course followed by a double game week for the same two clubs it is time to consider our plan of attack to get the most out of the post-Christmas and new year FPL games.

The Spurs Vs. West Ham game which was due to be played at Wembley on New Years Eve has been moved to New Year’s Day amid transport concerns in the capital – and whilst this means that both teams will now have no fixture in gameweek 21, both will play their planned fixture plus the rescheduled game against each other in game week 22.

First up, let’s take a look at the fixtures:

West Ham:

Vs. West Brom (h) and Spurs (a)


Vs. Swansea (a) and West Ham (h)

A few weeks back we might have been going all guns blazing on Spurs and given West Ham not a second thought but with the Hammers having renewed vigour under David Moyes the strategy has to be carefully considered.
